World of Warcraft question?

I am from Quebec and I bought the battlechest from a local store. It says Version Francais on the cover BUT I dont care if the language of the game is french or english I just want to play the game on an english server. If I upgrade my account on worldofwarcraft.com with the auth codes on these FRENCH disks, will I be able to play on ENGLISH servers?
