Liberals: what percentage of them abandon their childlike ideology before age 50?

Humans in general keep a childlike ideology til sometime around their retirement years, it's probably a survival instinct to not accept what one doesn't understand. I feel sorry for them when it all (reality) comes raining down on them, it's wise to spread it out over ones lifetime and not bottle it up til later.
