Well if it's just been for today and if it doesn't last much longer then I really wouldn't worry about it. Probably running the event caused your metabolism to spike and then not eating caused your blood sugar to drop which would cause the queasiness. And then when you finally did eat your body was in desperate need of calories so you kept getting hungry. Hunger is mostly triggered by your blood sugar levels (though it is quenched mostly by how full your stomach is).
