Different between toolbox controls used in winforms and webforms in visual studio 2005?

what is the difference between the toolbox controls we use in a winform while building a windows app to those for building a web app? So the tool box controls I use on winforms are not server controls? because I don't see runat="server property for those controls. They look entirely different to me and I am confused.Please help!!
